Rita Spina book unveiling

The family of bookmybio client Rita Spina held a book signing for friends and family at the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington, Connecticut on Saturday, Nov. 18. The 93-year-old author's book chronicles her life, from being left motherless at 2 months of age and being raised by her two oldest sisters to breaking through employment barriers in the New York City Public Schools in the 1970s. The book pays homage to her eight brothers and sisters who together overcame incredible odds to each start successful, stable families of their own. You can see a preview of her book on Amazon and purchase a copy in print or e-book format.

In the words of her son, Steve Spina, who contracted bookmybio to write the book for his mother: " It so much sounds like Mom I can hear her voice when I read it. This will be a treasure for generations to come. Thanks so much."
